Colours and patterns
At Violet & Scout, we take pride in the craftsmanship and unique design of our swimwear. Please note that every garment is hand-cut by our skilled artisans, which means patterns may vary slightly on each piece.
We strive to ensure that the colours and patterns shown on our website are as accurate as possible. However, due to the inherent nature of hand-cutting, no two pieces will be identical. The slight variations in patterns are not considered defects.We assure you that our commitment to quality and attention to detail remains consistent across all our products.

Payment
All transactions will be conducted in South African Rands (ZAR). Violet & Scout strives to provide competitive prices for its current products. Your total order amount will encompass the purchase price, along with applicable sales tax and shipping charges on the day of shipping. Please note that Violet & Scout retains the right to alter prices without prior notice.
For security, all transactions are encrypted using relevant encryption technologies and expertise. All personal information (including your name, email address, street address, phone number, and order history) are encrypted. We accept payments online through our safe and secure merchant processors (Payfast). Payment for products can be made via credit card, debit card, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), or Snapscan. In case of credit card payments, additional information may be necessary to authorise and validate the payment. In such instances, we may withhold delivery until the required information is provided, and authorization for the payment amount is obtained.
Customers choosing direct bank deposit or EFT must make the payment within five calendar days of placing the order. Upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, you will be directed to a secure payment site for processing the purchase price of the products. Both registered users and guest checkout users can place orders for available products that have not been sold out.
Order processing & delivery
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
Purchased “Products” will be dispatched and/or shipped within the first 48 working hours of Violet & Scout receiving receipt of payment and/or payment confirmation.
Working in accordance with our preferred courier’s services’, we endeavor to deliver as quickly and safely as possible. Our standard delivery time for local (SA) deliveries is 2-4 working days. However, delivery times do change, and Violet & Scout cannot be held liable for not meeting the standard delivery times mentioned above.
Delivery times will vary in accordance with the geographical location of each Registered User and/or Guest (Guest Check Out).

Refunds / Returns policy
Should you for any reason wish to return any item(s) purchased from Violet & Scout you will be allowed to exchange the goods for any other products of the same value, or request an online gift voucher to the value of the product(s) purchased. You will return the goods to Violet & Scout at your own cost. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 14 calendar days.
Products may be returned only when damaged, defective or if the products supplied are not the same products that were ordered. If the products are different from what was ordered, this must be reported within (24) hours of delivery. Any damage must also be immediately reported, within (24) hours of delivery. If you are returning products via courier or post office it is your responsibility to package it carefully so that it does not become more damaged en route.
Monitoring
We reserve the right to observe activities and content related to the Website, without being obligated to do so. We may examine reported breaches of these Terms and Conditions and, if necessary, take suitable actions at our discretion. These actions may encompass issuing warnings, suspending, terminating, or imposing restrictions on your access, as well as removing any materials from the Website.
Law
The Terms will be governed solely by the laws of South Africa and interpreted in line with them. South African Courts will have exclusive authority in any disagreement, although we retain the right, at our discretion, to initiate legal proceedings in other jurisdictions.
Consent
I acknowledge that all designs and trademarks belong to Violet & Scout. I agree to the terms and conditions, pledging not to replicate, copy or imitate these trademarks and designs in any form, understanding the associated legal consequences. If I breach this agreement, I am aware that I will be responsible for covering all legal expenses incurred by Violet & Scout for any required civil or legal action taken against me.
